Junior Accountant
Salary: 6,500 - 8,000 PLN gross / month – Employment contract
Place of work: Wolica, Pruszków county.
We are looking for someone to join our accounting team and support the ongoing financial and accounting operations of the company, working with sales and purchase documents, payments, and settlements from various sales channels.
If you already have some experience in accounting, feel comfortable working with documents and numbers, and want to continue developing towards full accounting and accounting for a manufacturing company, then we might be looking for you :)
Your scope of duties
- Verification and recording of current purchase and cost documents in Comarch ERP Optima and Saldeo, in accordance with accepted principles.
- Control of B2B and B2C sales documents and their correct recording in the system.
- Recording bank statements and reconciling payments with documents.
- Recording fixed assets.
- Settling income from the online store, sales platforms, and payment terminals, including commissions, returns, and corrections.
- Ongoing reconciliation of accounts with customers and suppliers and explaining differences.
- Preparing payment proposals and payment batches for approval.
- Monitoring due dates, sending reminders, and contacting customers regarding overdue payments.
- Issuing and controlling recurring invoices for coffee machine leasing based on contracts and data provided by the sales department – as part of covering for the person who performs this task on a daily basis.
- Collecting and checking the completeness of production and warehouse documents and explaining shortages with the relevant departments.
- Supporting the Independent Accountant in production settlement, warehouse reconciliation, and month-end closing.
- Preparing reports and verifying data for VAT and CIT settlement purposes.
- Ensuring timely circulation and organization of accounting documentation.
Requirements and qualifications – who do we need?
- 2–3 years of experience working in accounting.
- Practical knowledge of Comarch ERP Optima and Saldeo.
- Knowledge of the basics of full accounting as well as VAT and CIT principles needed for the correct recording of current documents.
- Experience in recording invoices, bank statements, and reconciling accounts.
- Ability to work in Excel.
- Accuracy, punctuality, and responsibility for assigned tasks.
- Comfort in contacting customers and colleagues when explaining documents and payments.
- Desire to develop knowledge of manufacturing accounting and multi-channel sales.
